Love the colour, love the design!

Love the touch of grey on the white … should perhaps try a little bit more. Love the design.

I love the design, but would not enjoy making sixteen identical urns, plus the big one!

I think it would be difficult to find the perfect background colour, but would probably want to change it after the first dozen blocks.

As much as I love the designs I would be bored stiff making the them, but would be happy to hand quilt them!

Now there’s a solution … add fusible to the applique designs, cut them out with the Scan’n’Cut, iron them onto background, put the top together, and use the quilting to secure the applique!

Wonder how long it would take me to find the perfect background fabric … and then the perfect fabric for the applique. Or perhaps the perfect fabric for the background, and the perfect thread for the machine embroidery?

Or perhaps some applique for the big piece applique blocks, and the fiddly bits embroidered! Then another thread for the quilting.

In all three of these designs I love the open spaces around the white bits … more white would make the designs too busy.

I love it, but would change the background colour if making it for use in our home!
